Girl Remembers ‘P’ Means ‘Park,’ Then Shifts Car’s Gear To Save Mom And 2 Siblings

While on the road, anything can happen. You must rely on other drivers to be safe behind the wheel, and to practice good behavior to reduce the chances of an accident occurring. In turn, you try your best to be alert and awake to not put yourself or any of your passengers in danger.

Of course, everyone makes mistakes — though these mistakes can have deadly consequences.

Other times, these accidents are a matter of circumstance and can't be helped. Such events are medical emergencies that occur without warning, like heart attacks and seizures. One mom and her children are lucky to be alive after she was a victim of the latter while behind the wheel.

But thankfully, her 10-year-old daughter saved the day!

Anylah Thompson stayed calm and collected when her mom started having the seizure. Her two younger siblings were in the backseat, so she thought quickly.

She remembered that the "P" on the gear was for "park," so she shifted it. The car stopped, saving all four individuals in the car, and perhaps others on the road, from harm.

Now, not only will her mother recover from the medical episode, but the young lady is also being called a hero!
