While walking through the Swedish city of Malmö, people started noticing something popping up around the bottoms of buildings.
Inside basement windows, tiny little shops for mice have started appearing. The artist group Anonymouse MMX told The Huffington Post, "It’s just too darn charming to imagine a world where mice live parallel to ours but just slightly out of sight."
They made the shops using recyclables — things that mice could have found and reused themselves. Although the tiny shops are only in Sweden, people all over the world are falling in love with them.
People have responded in very nice ways to the pictures Anonymouse MMX has shared, writing, "What a charming installation. Thank you for bringing a smile, and more, to many," and "Absolutely magnificent! Such detailed work! Beautiful artwork!"
So far it looks like there are only two different shops available for the mice to frequent, but hopefully there will be more soon.
One of the two stores, Noix De Vie, offers the mice a variety of nuts from around the world.
The other shop, Il Topolino, looks like a little Italian pizzeria.
People everywhere, especially kids, really love these little mouse houses.
Unfortunately, mice can't currently get into the stores, unless they have some sort of lock picking tools.
These adorable shops are so perfect, we hope they make some new ones soon!
