Crossing the finish of a marathon would be a huge accomplishment for anyone. But for women who are moms or who work, or who do both, this is quite the exceptional feat. After all, when does one find the time to train for such an endeavor?
Mom Nadine Ducote did just that as she crossed the finish line of the Mississippi Gulf Coast marathon.
The incredible, triumphant moment was caught on camera by her husband of over 1o years, Jordan.
Crossing the finish line wasn't the only thing that brought the entire Ducote family to their feet: it was the short, sweet, three-word message on Nadine's shirt.
It read, "Honey, I'm pregnant!"
Jordan says that he didn't immediately register what he had read until he said, "Go, Mommy!" as his wife ended the race. How can you blame him? He was fully focused on cheering on Nadine as she reached the finish line!
The couple has been trying to add to their family for some time now, and this announcement came as a total shock! Not only did Nadine manage to run a full marathon with a bun in the oven, but she also took her husband, and the rest of her family, totally by surprise with such a lovely and unique reveal.
