Camera Catches Black Hoof Sticking Out Of Goat Moments Before 3-Hour Labor

Unless we live on a farm or on the edge of a forest, it's unlikely that we will ever be in a position to witness animals in their natural habitat.

We may catch them, from time to time, walking by the side of the road, or searching for food. These are beautiful, peaceful sights, but we know just how even more unlikely it will be to catch them in rarely seen acts, such as giving birth.

Luckily, people have been able to catch these miraculous instances on camera, to share them with the rest of the world!

At Nuckinfutz Farm, in Florida, the owner of a pregnant dairy goat caught the animal's three-hour labor on camera.

Like any labor, the goat is in some pain. But her owner encourages her through the tensest moments.

In the graphic footage, she focuses on the progress of the birth. Over the course of the three hours (reduced to 10 minutes in the clip), you can see, little by little, how the baby is making her way out.

It's quite peculiar to see a single, tiny, black hoof poking out of the mom. But when the little one finally comes out and into the world, the goat's motherly instinct takes over. She immediately starts cleaning her new baby!
