Whenever I go to the zoo, I feel like a little kid again. I find myself in awe of all the creatures I see in front of me, even if I've seen them a million times before!
Seventeen-year-old Jalen Brooks likely understands how I feel, after his classmate, Jill Lojas, caught his reactions while sitting in zoology class.
The teens were learning about various creatures, which were brought into the classroom for firsthand experience.
Among the animals shown to the students of Riverside Brookfield High School in Riverside, IL, were a black duck, a giant snake, and a massive reptile!
Jill says that this was the only class the teens were allowed to bring their phones into, so she whipped hers out to snap a photo of one of the animals.
Instead, she caught classmate Jalen's reaction in the background, and his face says it all! He can barely contain his awe when he sees all the animals right in front of him. Jill quickly shifted her focus from the animals to the teen, and with hilarious results.
Jalen leans in to get a closer look and gasps throughout the funny compilation — and now the clip is all over the internet!
