Tinder is one of the most popular dating apps on the market, but you never really know who you're communicating with until you meet that person face-to-face.
In this clip, a slender blonde woman named Sarah shows up to her Tinder dates looking much different from her profile pictures. With hidden cameras set up nearby, will her male suitors stay and get to know her… or take one look at her and decide to leave? The social experiment below, courtesy of Simple Pickup, answers these questions and more.
"A recent study has shown the number one fear for women dating online is that they're going to meet a serial killer," the host says. "The number one fear for men? That the woman they meet is going to be fat."
Before heading to her dates, Sarah is donned in a disguise, making her look heavier than any of her dates expect. "How old is your picture on your Tinder?" one asks. "Are you pregnant?" another inquires.
And then there's the question coming from the one man who actually sticks around to enjoy a full conversation with Sarah. "Do you like to eat?" Yikes.
On one hand, it's understandable that people don't want to be lied to or misled, especially when it comes to romance. But on the other, some of the reactions from these guys are just plain cruel.
