It's amazing when we get to witness an animal in poor shape transformed at the hands of a caring human.
While there may be owners who are unfit to take care of living, breathing pets (and who only realize this in the aftermath), there are plenty of people out there who would love to take a helpless creature under their wing.
Veterinarian Dr. Matt of Vet Ranch is a prime example of these animal heroes, and he shows he is passionate about what he does through the transformations he makes happen. Just check out the time he rescued a pregnant dog that eventually gave birth to 12 healthy pups — what a miracle!
This time around, he saved a pup named Henry. Dr. Matt estimated that Henry was around 7 months old when he arrived in his patient room.
The pooch was covered in scabs all over his back and had thinning hair that exposed red, irritated skin. Dr. Matt started off the road to recovery with a nice bath to help reduce the stench Henry was carrying with him.
At just one month, Henry's scabs were completely gone, with his hair growing in just fine. At such an early stage, the pup was already on his way to a full transformation!
Fast-forward a few weeks later, and you won't even be able to recognize the dog in the video — not to mention his energetic attitude!
