Police Officer Rushes To The Hospital After Pregnant Wife Calls Him During Car Accident

Car accidents are just that — accidents — but that doesn't make them any less dangerous, scary, or horrifying to hear about or be involved in.

In this news footage from May 2015, we're told the incredible survival story of Brandy Lee and her beloved baby girl.

Brandy was driving when she was on the phone with her husband, Demetrius, who is a local police officer. As they were talking, suddenly there was a car in front of her who stopped short, and Brandy crashed.

Demetrius was confused about what was going on, but when Brandy stopped responding, a police officer suddenly got on the phone. He told Demetrius that his wife had been in an accident and directed him to the hospital that she was being taken to.

From that point on, everyone wondered if Brandy would make it. But Demetrius was also worried about their baby girl, Bailey, who was a miracle to this couple already after two attempts at pregnancy with in vitro.

When Brandy was put in an induced coma, they saw that Brandy was moving around inside, but that didn't guarantee mother or baby were OK.

Doctors told Demetrius that there was a 50-50 chance for both of them, and they went on with their surgeries to try to save them.

Thankfully, they succeeded, but Brandy was left with paraplegia and severe memory loss. Thankfully, that didn't stop them. Today they're alive and thriving. Although this accident changed their lives, they have faith that God gave them a miracle.
