Sometimes, our pets let out their mischievous sides when we're not looking. When we confront them about what they have done, our guilty animals always seem to play up their cuteness to avoid getting in trouble.
This dog owner is very familiar with this practice thanks to her dog Emma.
One day, Emma's owner made her way downstairs and was stunned by what she saw in her living room.
Scattered across the floor was what looked like a cracked white ceramic, shattered into pieces, and a bunch of round, coin-like objects.
Instantly, Emma's owner grew furious and confused. How did this mess get there?
The woman turned to her dog, sitting ever so silently on a beige couch. She was wagging her tail, almost smiling back at her owner. The woman confronted Emma about the situation, looking back several times at the pile on the tile floor across the room.
She continued to ask her dog what had happened with the mess beside them. Emma stared up at her owner with the saddest puppy dog eyes, unable to hide her very obvious guilt.
It was clear that Emma, as adorable as she was, had committed the crime. The doggy culprit couldn't help but try to avoid eye contact with her owner, knowing the woman knew she was the one and only culprit.
