Jonathan Taylor, a fireman from Des Moines, Iowa, claims to hate gifts. But I'm pretty sure that after the surprise gift he received in this video, he just might change his mind going forward!
Back in November 2016, Taylor's wife, Tara Matlock, recorded her husband after she gave him a bag full of gifts.
In the video, he asks Matlock, "Why are we doing this?" in reference to her giving him a random gift and recording his reaction.
But this isn't just any regular gift.
As he starts to pull things out of the bag and take stock of what they are, it all begins to hit him at once.
"Diapers, a couple pacifiers, and some onesies," Matlock describes.
And it's upon seeing those items that Taylor completely loses it, and with good reason!
"The diapers, as soon as I saw the diapers I just flooded with emotions," he says.
The fireman is a first-time dad-to-be.
"I wanted to keep videotaping him but he looked like he needed a hug and I couldn't just keep going," Matlock recalls.
And though she recorded the video months ago, she waited until Valentine's Day to post it to Facebook, where it quickly got plenty of feedback.
"I put it on there and the likes started coming and people started texting how cute it was. All the women love it."
But for Taylor, this marks an exciting new and upcoming chapter in his life.
"Actually holding my child in my hand, I'm looking forward to that," he says.
