Grandma Finally Gets An iPhone, Now She Can’t Stop Sending Her Granddaughter Daily Selfies

Grandparents and their grandchildren often have incredible relationships. Not only do grandparents like to spoil their grandkids, they also serve as incredible role models, mentors, and often sources of humor for their families.

If you think your grandmother is the best, or think you're the best grandmother out there, you're in for a surprise, because this grandmother just blew every other grandparent out of the water.

Sierra Sessions, a young woman who works at City Weekly in Salt Lake City, Utah, has a very close relationship with her grandmother, Linda Merrill.

Last year, Linda got an iPhone, and since then Sierra has gotten daily selfies from her. Sierra described her grandmother to City Weekly as "innocent" and "hilarious." She explained that they're best friends and tell each other everything.

Sierra was so happy to get the selfies from her grandmother every day that she posted them on Twitter, where they instantly went viral.

Sierra tweeted: "My grandma sends me these every day. She is the purest thing on this earth and we have to protect her at all costs."

People everywhere who have seen the tweets absolutely love Sierra and Linda's relationship.

All the selfies come with a loving message from Linda, reminding Sierra that she loves her, from wherever she is at that moment.

This one says, "I love you from Einstein bagels!"

Another says, "I love you from my front room."

Sierra thinks the selfies are funny and adorable, and she loves getting them.

She explained, "I guess she just doesn't want me to forget what she looks like or something."

And who can blame her? We all love taking selfies — it's just that much better when we have someone to send them to.

These loving selfies and notes serve as a reminder for Sierra that her grandmother is always thinking about her, no matter what she may have going on in her life.

And Sierra has a good way to show her love for her grandmother as well: through Twitter.

Sierra posted this sweet message on Twitter, where her followers and friends can see how much she cares for her grandma.
