Bearded Man Bangs On Shelter’s Door At 3 A.M., Then Pulls Tiny Kitten Out Of His Pocket

Never judge a book by its cover. You never know what a person's true intentions are just by looking at them.

It might be easy to look at a biker guy and think that he is tough and lives without feelings. But that obviously is not true. Everyone experiences feelings and a range of different emotions, and they have nothing to do with the motorcycle they may drive.

One biker might have intimidated a rescue group momentarily when he bounded up to their door in the middle of the night and began banging on it. The biker – who wanted to remain anonymous – showed up unexpected in the wee hours of the night.

But in reality, the burly, bearded man was acting as a guardian angel for a tiny, defenseless kitten. The unnamed man showed up on the doorstep of the Kitten Inn, a rescue group in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, at 3 a.m. with a kitten in his pocket.

Much like this man who found a group of kittens in a dumpster, this bearded biker knew he had to act fast to save this little kitten.

"I was awoken by someone knocking on my door. I quickly got up to see who it was," Susan McNair, founder of the Kitten Inn, told Love Meow.

When Susan opened the door, a man with a large beard and covered in tattoos was standing on the other side.

Inside this big man's pocket was a kitten. He'd been at a party when he spotted a group of girls passing the kitten around in a way that made him extremely uncomfortable.

He took the kitten away from the girls and rushed out to get help. When asked what his name was, he did not provide it, as he felt his friends wouldn't understand his love of cats.

While he remains anonymous, his kind act has not been forgotten. Not only did he give the female kitten to the Kitten Inn, he also provided $100 to help with her care. Because he acted as her guardian angel, they named the little girl Harley after his motorcycle and nicknamed him Harley's Angel.

Harley was put with a mama kitten who had babies, but she did not grow much in size. Despite how tiny she remained, she was extremely affectionate.

The older cats took her under their wing and protected her, as well as gave her lots of love.

Two years after she was rescued, Harley has finally grown, but she is still the size of a kitten. The reason for her small stature is unknown but she is a happy little girl, which is all that matters!
