Willa Barker is a third grade teacher at Stand Watie Elementary School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is no stranger to using her own money to buy school supplies. In preparation for a test, she and her sister, who is also a teacher, decided to pay a trip to her local Walmart to buy more supplies.
She was buying hula hoops and poster boards for the particular test preparation exercise.
That's when a complete stranger approached her.
"She came over behind me and said, 'I want to bless you,'" Willa recalled in the video below.
Willa was surprised, but accepted the woman's proposal.
The teacher was stunned, as the woman, who revealed herself only as "Tina" went forward and bought $80 worth of supplies for the sisters.
"I just could not respond," Willa said. "I was flabbergasted. I was moved to tears, actually."
In the video below, as Willa continued to recall the wonderful moment she experienced that night in that Walmart, you can see the young students of her class enjoying the spoils of that stranger's kindness, as they put the supplies to good use in preparation for their exam.
"Tina has really truly blessed all of the third-graders for what she did. So we appreciate her and everything she did. She has no idea how far-reaching this became," said Willa.
