10 Proven Reasons Why It’s Great To Be A Woman

Nothing against being a man, which is great in it's own way, but being a woman is pretty darn wonderful.

Sure, we carry our burdens, like the terrible symptoms of PMS and, of course, if you have children, the pain of birthing a child. But in the end? I wouldn't have it any other way, and I know I'm not alone.

Women are strong in more ways than one. We've overcome so much throughout history, and there's no stopping us now! Working moms, women who chose to not have children, women who can't have their own children and chose to adopt or use a surrogate, stay-at-home-moms, single moms, women in non-traditional families, and all the other combinations and variations on all of these different lifestyles are all wonderful and should be celebrated. Womanhood doesn't just mean one thing for everyone, and that's the way it should be.

But as women, there are many things we do share, including those two X chromosomes. So, what has science, statistics, studies, and data proven about being a woman?

These 10 proven facts show that it's great to be a woman.
