Woman Spray-Paints Old Stack Of Plates And Garden Pots To Create Chic Jewelry Holder

I love taking ordinary items found around my own home and creating something completely new out of them. DIY upcycling is fun and can result in the most beautiful pieces. When done right, these projects can look twice as good as any store-bought item.

A great example would be this DIY jewelry holder, made from a few unexpected materials.

In the video below, posted on April 18, 2017, a woman takes a large ceramic pot and places it upside down on the table.

Then, she takes a hot glue gun and creates a ring of adhesive at the top of the inverted garden pot. Without wasting any time, she grabs and old, tarnished platter and places it on top of the pot. She presses down on the tray to make sure her creation is firm.

Next, she picks up the smaller ceramic pot and makes a ring of glue around the top rim. She sticks the pot upside down onto the large platter, as the second support piece.

To top it all off, she takes a smaller white plate and glues it onto the second pot. Once she has her full stack ready to go, she pulls out a can of spray paint. This is what really makes the transformation!

She sprays a gorgeous rose-gold color all over the stack and is left with a unique DIY jewelry holder to call her own!
