Amanda Bynes says there's a reason she looks different: she had cosmetic surgery. In a video shared on TikTok, the actress known for The Amanda Show shared that she had blepharoplasty, a surgery that "removes excess skin from the eyelids," according to Mayo Clinic.
"I saw a couple stories online that say I have a new look, and I was never open about this before, but I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds and the corners of my eye so I don’t have those skin folds anymore," she said in the video shared on TikTok.
She is still glad that she had the procedure, as it has made her feel better about herself. She said that the surgery was "one of the best things [she] could've ever done for [her] self-confidence." After having the procedure, Amanda says she feels "a lot better in [her] skin."
Though she was previously not open about it and decided to make the video to address some rumors that were circulating, she said that she is "so glad" that she had the surgery.
