Amy Robach And TJ Holmes Are Pitching ‘Up Close And Personal’ Comeback Show To Networks

Former Good Morning America anchors Amy Robach and TJ Holmes are reportedly shopping a new "up close and personal" daytime show to major networks, including CNN, CBS, and NBC.

The pair were fired from Good Morning America after their months-long affair was revealed. They reportedly want to take on Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseulos, who are hosting their own show together.

One television executive told the Daily Mail that some think ABC should have kept the pair. As they put it, "Think about it. You have a show with two attractive hosts that does pretty well and then boom — the sexy romantic drama of the decade unfolds with your two stars. Who wouldn't want to watch them interact every day — see those sparks fly?"

The pair have been holding meetings about the show while in LA for the funeral of Howard Bragman.

While they were taken off the air in January 2023, Amy and TJ appear to be enjoying one another's company. They have taken a number of trips together, including a two-week stay in Mexico.
