Earlier this year, Andrew Shue and Amy Robach finalized their divorce after being married for 12 years. The split came after Amy was caught having an affair with her Good Morning America coanchor, T.J. Holmes.
Previously, sources told Page Six that the Melrose Place actor was avoiding the drama and approaching it in a “classy” way. On Thursday, Andrew’s sister, Elisabeth Shue, shared with Page Six that Andrew is “doing great” now.
“He is awesome,” Elisabeth told Page Six on June 8 at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of The Good Half. “He is doing really good.”
In February, a source told Us Weekly that Andrew was not taking the split very well due to it being “so messy.”
Amy and T.J. have continued their relationship — and their PDA — after the affair and Amy's subsequent divorce. The couple has recently been spotted holding hands and kissing in public. Their relationship was brought to light in November 2022, and ABC cut ties with them after the scandal.

An ABC spokesperson released a statement in January, stating, "After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News."
The couple's divorce was finalized several months after Amy's affair was brought to light.
According to the Daily Mail, Amy and Andrew's divorce was settled through mediation. The Daily Mail also reported that they have shared custody of their dog.
Andrew wants to avoid the "mess," but he reportedly has maintained his relationship with Amy’s daughters, as they went to a concert with Andrew and his sons in April. Another source told Us Weekly that Amy is still in Andrew’s sons’ lives as well.
Amy and T.J. reportedly started getting close as they trained for the New York City half-marathon in March 2022. T.J. was also married and, like Amy, had been married to his wife for 12 years. Unlike Amy and Andrew, T.J. and his estranged wife have a child together.
T.J.'s estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig, also struggled to deal with the news of her husband's affair.
She made a statement to the Daily Mail, saying that she was disappointed by T.J.'s "lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity."
It seems that Marilee has found other things to focus on following their separation.
Last month, she announced a new business venture on Instagram in partnership with Cathrine White: Axis Hats New York.
"AXIS embodies creativity, trust, tenacity and innovation," she wrote on Instagram. "As women of diverse backgrounds, with multi dimensional roles, we understand the enormous value of what that holds. What we choose to focus on is a key element of what brings joy into our lives."
She added, "Cathrine White’s work has always resonated on a very emotional level with her audience. This limited art collection is an example of the connection that people make with her work. These pieces are individually unique and tell the visual story of multi-generational history and tradition and are a reminder of what is at the core of the American college experience."
Following the report that Andrew was doing well after the scandal and divorce, Amy and T.J. were spotted being affectionate in public once again.
According to Us Weekly, Amy and T.J. held hands as they walked around New York City on Saturday, June 10.
