Cause Of Death Of Kellie Pickler’s Husband Kyle Jacobs Is Confirmed By Official Autopsy

The late Kyle Jacobs' cause of death was recently revealed. According to the autopsy report, the songwriter and husband of Kellie Pickler died by suicide. He died on February 17, 2023, at only 49 years old.

On the night of Kyle's death, Kellie had woken up and couldn't find her husband. A call to the police was made when she and her assistant couldn't open the door to a room in the house.

When police and the fire department arrived, Kyle was found dead. His death was investigated as an apparent suicide from the start.

The couple were married for over a decade. They wed in 2011 after a couple years of dating, though they'd met through a mutual friend in the early 2000s.

Kyle was a talented musician. Not only was he a songwriter, but he played the piano and guitar as well.

During his career, Kyle wrote for some big names. Among those are Kelly Clarkson, Tim McGraw, and Scotty McCreery, to name a few.

Though the couple never had children, they were proud dog parents. It didn't appear that kids were ever really in the question for the two. In 2020, Kellie made a statement when asked about the baby boom caused by the pandemic: “I love being Aunt Kellie and that is perfect for me."

The two shared a busy life together, however. From 2015 to 2017, they starred on the reality series, I Love Kellie Pickler!

The toxicology reports revealed that Jacobs didn't have drugs in his system at the time of his death. However, he did have a history of "pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use."
