Bill O'Reilly, the former Fox News host who has been accused of sexual misconduct, recently shared his views on the 2024 presidential election, and he thinks it's "almost inconceivable that in a national convention in August, the Democratic Party will nominate a man who has dementia." He was referring to President Joe Biden, who he claims "has dementia." He believes "that is going to become more and more clear in the next months,” he shared on his podcast, No Spin News.
In his opinion, there's only one Democrat who has the potential to beat Donald Trump, and it's definitely not Biden. He believes that former first lady Michelle Obama is "the only person inside the Democratic Party who could beat Trump."
Other conservatives have also tried to say that Joe Biden will be replaced by Michelle Obama at some point during the election cycle, including Sen. Ted Cruz, who in fall 2023, said "the odds are very significant" that the Democratic Party will replace Joe Biden with Michelle Obama.
“I think they’re gonna look to Michelle Obama as the savior to come in. And I think if that happens, that would be very, very dangerous," he said at the time.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has also pushed the theory, writing "Don’t be surprised. But I still say it’ll be Michelle O’ #2024Election. Biden’s out," on X (formerly Twitter) in September 2023.

Michelle Obama has not expressed interest in running for president, but she has said that she is "terrified" about the 2024 election.
“What’s going to happen in this next election? I’m terrified about what could possibly happen, because our leaders matter. Who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit, it affects us in ways sometimes I think people take for granted,” she said on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast earlier in January 2024.
