Friend Reveals Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Briefly Dated Again Following 2019 Reunion

Fans of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, hold on to your hats. A source close to the former couple has revealed to Us Weekly that the two reportedly reunited briefly for a few dates in 2019 … but that it's not clear they would ever get back together.

The friend explained that it could be the timing was just bad: "Jen and Brad went on a few discreet dates. It became clear they were better off as friends."

However, two years have passed and neither has moved on, so there might still be something there.

The friend added, "Brad and Jen try to put on brave faces publicly, but friends say they are lonely and a bit disillusioned about their love lives."

While both have attempted to date, it seems that nothing is really panning out. "To some people it seems they’ve all but given up on finding lasting happiness."

Brad and Jen have both made noise indicating that they want to date people out of the industry, but friends of Jennifer Aniston don't buy it.

"Anyone who knows Jen will tell you she thrives in the limelight and buzzes off of it," said the source. "For that reason, it’s highly unlikely she’d gel with someone who doesn’t understand her world."

It also sounds like Jen might have developed a pretty specific type.

"With the exception of John [Mayer], many of the guys Jen’s been with seem like the poor man’s version of Brad," the source continued. "It’s often the elephant in the room."

The source added that Jennifer is decidedly anti dating apps: "Jen refuses to use dating apps. And she has a screening process that’s straight out of 2005 where she spends hours Googling guys, looking at real estate records and news articles."

On his side, Brad is reportedly anxious about dating as well. "Brad is skeptical of most of the women he likes," the source explained. "He’s met so many who don’t want to be thrust into the spotlight, and it’s ended a lot of relationships prematurely. … Brad doesn’t want to date anyone in the industry because of what he’s gone through. He doesn’t want another Angie."

In the end, it sounds like everyone is rooting for the pair to reunite — except for maybe them.

"They’re very happy with their dynamic," the source said. "As far as their friends are concerned they feel it’s a real shame Brad and Jen can’t give each other another shot. But it’s just not in the cards right now, and it’s hard to see that changing any time soon."
