Charlie Sheen’s Ex Brooke Mueller Claims He Owes Her $15 Million In Unpaid Child Support

Earlier this year, Brooke Mueller described her ex Charlie Sheen as a supportive person in her life. Now, she’s asking him for a large sum of money. Brooke and Charlie were married from 2008 to 2011 and they share two children, 16-year-old twins Bob and Max. According to court documents, Brooke is claiming that Charlie owes her about $15.3 million in child support.

She claims that he failed to pay for years.

According to the docs, Brooke claims that Charlie was ordered to pay her $55,000 per month in child support in April 2010. By July 2011, she allegedly started to have problems. Per the Daily Mail, she claims that Charlie started either not paying or only paying some amount of the money at this time. Now, she’s requesting $8.9 million in child support from March 2011 until December 2025 in addition to $6.4 million in interest and $25,000 in attorney fees.

She’s asking to receive all the money within the next 30 days. Per People and NBC News, Brooke and Charlie’s custody arrangement is dependent on Brooke’s substance use. Though they share joint legal custody, Charlie was granted sole custody in 2024 in the event that Brooke relapsed.

Additionally, their custody agreement states “the minor children’s primary residence will be with [Charlie],” per People.

Charlie’s rep responded to Brooke’s court docs.

After multiple outlets reported that Charlie allegedly failed to pay child support, a rep for the actor told TMZ that Brooke’s claims were not exactly accurate. “Brooke has been in and out of rehab for the past 15 years, while Charlie has had 100% custody of the kids, which is why she is not entitled to any child support,” the rep claimed.

Though the issue seems complicated, Brooke spoke highly of her ex earlier this year. She told People that Charlie understands what she’s struggling with and that he’s her “first call for help.”

“He gets it,” she said. “He’s always there to help me and pick up the pieces.” She also said that she and her ex “share custody” and “co-parent,” and she feels “very grateful.”

“The fact he gives me yet another chance shows his deep true heart underneath,” she added at the time. In December 2023, Charlie also spoke to People about their relationship and appeared to empathize with his ex. “She’s trying to figure some stuff out on her end,” he said. “The boys are proud of me, now. They see what mom goes through, and I’m not dumping on mom because I know it’s a thing.”
