Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Barron Trump In White House Messages

In a disturbing message sent to the White House’s website, a 29-year-old man allegedly threatened to decapitate President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump. Because of the alleged threats, the man, Michael Kovco, has been charged with one count of transmitting threats in interstate commerce.

In the same message, Kovco allegedly threatened to kill the president as well. He made it known that he was being completely serious about his threats, as he reportedly wrote, “I have absolutely every intent of plotting and carrying out an active assassination attempt against the President of the United States of America. This is a serious threat,” per Newsweek.

“I’m going to take a serrated knife and saw Barron Trump’s head off after I successfully stake out the president of the united states with a high caliber sniper rifle permanently aimed at the White House Lawn from a local vantage point,” the message read, per Newsweek.

According to RadarOnline, Kovco directed more threats at Barron, 20, on March 19. He allegedly wrote, “I’m literally gonna find out how Barron Trump walks around in NYC or DC or wherever the f— he is and run at him with a serrated bread knife and saw that motherf—— head off.”

The publication noted that he signed the message with, “Mr. I’m going to f—— kill your child Kovco.”

When they did so, no one answered the door. After that, Kovco allegedly threatened the Secret Service agents in another message that was also sent to the White House’s website. The message read, “I’m gonna hunt the secret service agent that comes to my door’s family so he better not tell me any identifying information at all like first or last name or pet name or address or place of work because im going to buy a small concealable firearm and go shoot up his place of work immediately if he tells me anything.”

He also asserted that he wanted “justice for my rape from the US government,” CBS News reported.

Eventually, Secret Service agents were able to track him down. At first, they reportedly spoke to someone else at the residence, who claimed that Kovco isn’t working right now, is usually at home, and hasn’t been taking his medication, according to Newsweek. Then, Kovco appeared and claimed that he didn’t send the threats. He allegedly said, “That’s f—— hilarious. It wasn’t me. Go f— yourself. Go get a warrant for my arrest.”

However, CBS reported that he later added, “OK, I posted four more. I’m gonna get money from you’re a–. Go check it out.”

He has reportedly made threats before.

In August 2025, Kovco allegedly threatened to kill President Trump. At the time, he reportedly wrote, “I am plotting to kill the president of the united states in an ambush with a heavy caliber anti material rifle. Please make a clear line of fire from the white house to marine one on the presidents next departure from the garden.”

He also included his contact information. According to CBS, Kovco initially claimed that someone else could’ve written the message using his name and contact details. He was arrested on April 3.
