Christina Ricci Criticizes Jimmy Fallon For Allowing ‘Human Garbage’ On His Show

A lot of people are disgusted by one of the guests Jimmy Fallon recently had on his show. One of the people being the most outspoken about the issue is actress Christina Ricci, who is known for portraying Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Kat Harvey in Casper. After Conor McGregor appeared on The Tonight Show, Ricci took to social media to share her thoughts.

In 2024, McGregor was found liable for sexual assault. A woman named Nikita Hand accused McGregor of sexually assaulting her in 2018. He was ordered to pay her $257,000. So, Ricci sees him as “human garbage” and doesn’t understand why he was on a popular talk show. Ricci is far from the only person who is angry about it, but people are praising her for using her own platform to call Fallon out.

Ricci said Fallon should be ashamed.

On Instagram, she wrote, “Conor McGregor raped a woman so brutally that the EMT who saw her commented on the severity of her bruising. She also had to have the tampon she was using when he raped her surgically removed, as it had been shoved so far inside her.”

Ricci continued, “Why the ABSOLUTE F— is this piece of human garbage being given a platform on Jimmy Fallon’s show?” Many other people are asking the same question.

Ricci, who has appeared on Fallon’s show before, also added, “Shame on you, Jimmy.”

People are glad Ricci is speaking up about it.

Her post sparked a discussion on Reddit, where people praised Ricci and criticized Fallon. “Proud of Christina for calling Jimmy and this BS out,” someone wrote. “I don’t know what he was thinking having Conor on and laughing along to his stupid jokes.”

Another person said, “I don’t know anything about this guy but I am 100% behind Christina. What the hell is this guy doing in any public space? Let alone a popular talk show??? Disgusting of Fallon.”

A lot of people also saw McGregor’s appearance on the show as proof that sexual assault accusations don’t actually ruin men’s lives in the way that some people claim that they do. Because McGregor was found liable, yet still had the opportunity to appear on TV. “But accusations ruin men’s lives right!?!?” someone else wrote. “Absolute piece s— that deserves to be in prison not on a talk show.”

Fallon has not publicly commented on the backlash, but people think he’s purposely not sharing videos featuring McGregor.

McGregor appeared on Fallon’s show on June 16, but you wouldn’t know that by scrolling through his Instagram feeds. People have noticed that Fallon hasn’t shared any videos of McGregor on Instagram, though he has shared clips from interviews with several other guests on his show.

Many of his posts are now flooded with comments about the controversy that he has not addressed. For example, on June 24, Fallon shared a clip of Supergirl actress Milly Alcock. People left comments like, “why aren’t you posting anything about the 🍇ist you proudly hosted??” and “Unacceptable – having McGregor is unacceptable.”

“JIMMY FALLON SUPPORTS PREDATORS,” someone wrote in the comments. And another person said, “Love all the comments you’re receiving, you deserve it.”

On June 15, some New York Knicks stars appeared on Fallon’s show. When he posted about it, people wrote about McGregor instead. “Funny you haven’t posted any clips with your good pal Conor McGregor,” one person commented. “It’s almost as if that might invite some backlash.”

And someone else said, “Would love to know how you look your daughters in the eye after chumming it up with mcgregor.”
