Costco Customer Reveals Little Known Hack For Gift Cards Bought In The Store

One Costco customer took to social media to share an unknown hack that shows many members might be missing out on using their membership to its fullest potential. Ravi Wadan, who calls himself a finance educator, posted a video to his TikTok account, in which he shocked viewers with a hack that perhaps many don't know anything about.

Apparently, Costco.com sells gift cards for less than face value. Members can purchase bundles of gift cards to a bunch of different stores, airlines, and restaurants, but pay less than the amount on the card.

“It surprises me how many people don’t know this, but Costco.com actually sells gift cards to some of your favorite places at a discount,” the TikToker shared. His video has gained over 500,000 views.

And from the number of people commenting and asking questions to get further information on this hack, it appears that many people indeed didn't know about the hack.

“Is there any additional fee added on to purchase or activate it??” one person asked, to which Ravi says there isn't.

“I have Costco for ages and I never paid attention,” another person said.

“And then you pay with a 5% cash back card to get even more savings,” one commenter added.
