Courteney Cox says she feels Matthew Perry's presence. The Friends actress spoke about her late costar during a CBS Sunday Morning interview, and said Matthew "visits" her often. Matthew was found unresponsive on October 28, 2023. An autopsy report later revealed that he died from the "acute effects of ketamine." He was 54 years old.
Speaking of Matthew, Courteney said, "He visits me a lot, if we believe in that." She then provided more details about her spirituality and her connection to Matthew.
“I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that, I think, guide us,” she explained during the interview. "I sense Matthew's around, for sure."
She described her late costar as one of the funniest people she knows. "I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world," she said. "He's just so funny."
She also added that he "is genuinely a huge heart" and noted that he "obviously struggled."

In November 2023, Courteney shared a tribute to Matthew via Instagram.
"I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day," she wrote at the time.
