Music Executive Who Works With Drake Cleared In Death Of Woman Who Died In His Hotel Tub

In real life, investigations into deaths, murders, and crime take much more time than a 45-minute Law & Order episode. For David Bolno, a music executive who has worked with Drake and Post Malone, it must have felt like an eternity for him to be cleared as a person of interest in the death of aspiring musician Laura Lozano.

Lozano’s body was found on March 30, 2023, in the bathtub of Bolno’s suite in the Setai Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Bolno was initially named a person of interest but is no longer so. He was not present at the time the body was found.

Bolno can be seen on security footage leaving the hotel room around 4:30 a.m. on the morning of Lozano’s death. Her body was not found until around nine hours later. There was also an “unknown substance” found around the hotel suite.

Bolno spoke to the Daily Mail about this horrible incident. “It was a terrible tragedy,” he said. “I had vacated the room in the earlier part of the morning so I wasn’t there when they found her.”

“It was really sad, she was someone I really liked, and she was a good person,” he went on to say. He was hoping to continue a working relationship with her. She was at his hotel to make music.

“She’s a client and she was going to sign a record deal with me. I helped her make music. I really don’t want to go too deeply into it, honestly it was a terrible tragedy,” he concluded.
