Donald Trump has made it a habit of handing out nicknames across his political career.
For instance, across the past couple weeks, the president has typed “Gavin Newscum” into Truth Social more than a couple of times while referring to California Governor Gavin Newsom. But, if you dish it out, folks will eventually start giving it back, and the president has gotten hit by a string of nicknames across the past couple of months.
The first was TACO — short for Trump Always Chickens Out — and that was reportedly born out of his penchant for announcing tariffs and then backing off of them. Then he appeared to nod off at an event for the Saudi royal family, and again during his military parade over the weekend, so he got hit with “Don Snoreleone.”
And now one of his most outspoke foes across the past couple of years — George Conway has pitched another one out there.
“@realDonaldTrump tried to play Kim Jun Un for an afternoon,” Conway wrote on X will sharing a photo of Trump at his military parade. “But he’s still just Kim Jon Loon.”
Social media took it and ran with it.
“All hail Kim Jong Loon!” one person posted on X.
There were plenty more posts like that on Elon Musk’s platform having fun at the president’s expense.
It comes just days after Trump was hit with the “Don Snoreleone” nickname amid claims that he dozed off during his military parade.
There is video of Trump appearing to close his eyes, and nod forward for a few seconds, before picking his head up and looking around. He then appears to close his eyes and nod forward again before once more picking his head up.
Was he sleeping?
Maybe he did nod off a bit. Maybe he was in deep thought about the moment and what was going on in the world, too. Only Trump knows. But folks ran with it. The Daily Mail’s headline read “Donald Trump ‘falls asleep’ at his own military parade for 79th birthday.”
Social media was particularly brutal.
“General Fatten orders a gazillion $ military parade and then falls asleep during it,” the Canada Hates Trump account on X wrote while sharing the video. “Don Snoreleone strikes again!”
