Eric Trump Says He Wants His Kids To Stay ‘Humble’ But No One Believes Him

If there’s one thing Donald Trump’s kids and grandkids will never have to worry about, it”s staying humble for the masses. During a time when Trump’s spending and personal net worth are both extremely high, his son, Eric Trump, posted on X about keeping his children humble in the face of such extreme wealth and extravagance.

It’s probably a little too late for that, but go off, king. Eric posted about it on X when he shared a photo of his kids, Eric and Caroline Trump, watching the UFC fight event on the White House lawn from the balcony of the White House. It’s a vantage point that not many people get to experience, least of all small children. It makes sense for Eric to post about it in that regard, but it’s also hard to believe that he has any concerns about humility as a Trump.

Eric Trump’s kids already live lives of luxury.

By far my biggest challenge as a father will be keeping these two humble and grounded. This is NOT real life… but what a view! pic.twitter.com/RjwDcxo0JL— Eric Trump (@EricTrump) June 15, 2026

Eric posted the photo on X and wrote, “By far my biggest challenge as a father will be keeping these two humble and grounded. This is NOT real life… but what a view!” It’s honestly surprising and refreshing to hear Eric admit that the world in which his kids are living is not the norm for most kids in the world, let alone the United States. But it’s also hard to believe that he is instilling any sort of humble values in his young children.

“I really hope you can succeed where your own father failed so miserably,” a user commented on the X post.

Another person wrote, “I’m not an expert but posting about how humble you want to be while posting the kids at the same time for a reaction to his yearning for humility is pretty telling. We see you fella.”

“A majority of Americans are having a hard time feeding their children, let alone being able to afford a PPV fight on TV from the White House,” another person commented. “Even our tax dollars paid for this event yet U.S. citizens weren’t allowed to watch. So, do you really think we care about your parenting challenges?”

People think the Trump family is incapable of staying humble.

The Trump family is full of generational wealth. The name comes with tons of zeroes permanently attached to it. Or, at least, to many, it seems that way. So the idea of Eric’s kids growing up to remain aware of their privilege and the fact that they have more than most other people in the world just seems impossible.

And, one user wrote under the X post, “Humble and grounded. Two traits your family is completely devoid of.”

“One challenge you could learn personally is ‘read the fkg room.'” another wrote.

Others pointed out that Eric is far from humble himself. So how, exactly, does he plan to raise humble children if he hasn’t been raised that way or might fail to raise them that way himself?

“You’re not even humble and grounded,” an X user commented. “Your children will grow up entitled and when they don’t get their way, they will play victim. Just like your entire family does. We already see what the next generation of Trumps will be like. Thieves and grifters for parents. Sad. They don’t stand a chance.”

He admitted that staying at the White House is “not real life” for most.

The one saving grace for Eric is that in his post, he does admit that he knows the life he and his kids are living is not real life, so to speak. Then again, their real life is still in an expensive home in an affluent neighborhood with all of the hired help and advantages that they could ever possibly need. So even when Eric thinks he’s doing something, he doesn’t quite reach the mark.
