Georgia Mom Dies While Trying To Save Her Three Kids From A House Fire: ‘She’s A Hero’

Tragedy struck in Georgia on Thursday, February 15, 2024. A 23-year-old mom died while attempting to save her three children after their home caught fire. Madison Summerville was able to get one of her kids out. Neighbors stepped in to get the other two.

Madison’s sister, Chasidy Summerville, created a GoFundMe account to help the family during this difficult time. Chasidy revealed that Madison was an organ donor whose death saved eight more lives. Madison is remembered as “an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend.”

Madison’s kids were saved from the blaze. They were then immediately airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Their condition is not known at this time.

Madison's sister-in-law, Amber Morris, revealed to WXIA-TV that Madison's brother will take care of the children now that their mother is dead. He also has two children of his own. "She's a hero, and that's what she'll forever be," Chasidy stated.
