George Clooney Invites Mother-In-Law Baria Alamuddin To Walk London Red Carpet

There’s a popular joke that asks what the difference between an in-law and an out-law is. The punchline is, one of them is wanted. But there seems to be no animosity between George Clooney and his mother-in-law, Baria Alamuddin.

George and Amal Clooney were joined by Baria on the red carpet on May 16, 2023. The trio looked sharp. They were attending the Prince’s Trust and TK Maxx & Homesense Awards, which took place in London, England.

George, Amal, and Baria all clean up rather nicely. Amal sported a light jumpsuit accessorized with a black belt. George donned a classic gray suit with an open collar and aviator shades. Baria wore a beige top with a sheer layer over it. She also wore sunglasses, as the group’s aura must have been bright.

Baria is an impressive person in her own right, regardless of her famous son-in-law. She works as a journalist and has won numerous awards, including a lifetime achievement award from the 2018 Commonwealth Businesswomen Awards. She regularly interviews important figures, pressing them on issues of the day.

This was not the first time that Baria has appeared in public with Amal and George. In 2019, she attended the premiere of George’s Hulu series Catch-22. In 2017, she attended the premiere of the film Suburbicon. It appears as if the trio love, respect, and support each other.
