A child’s home environment makes a difference in how they grow and develop over the years. It can also affect their self-esteem as well as their interpersonal relationships when they go to school.
Jane was a vibrant young woman who was dealt a rough hand in life. Her parents died when she was just 3 years old and she was sent to live with a loving aunt. Throughout her formative years, Jane found solace in reading and wanted to be a writer herself when she grew up.
When she made it to university to study literature, she met Louis, someone she instantly had a connection with. After a party, the pair spent the night together and never left each other’s side.
Jane soon dropped out of college when the two got married and decided to expand their family unit. A few months down the line, Jane gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. After spending a day at the hospital, Jane and Louis brought their baby home, but as soon as they got in the door, Louis forcefully grabbed his wife and dragged her into the basement.
Jane thought his aggressive behavior had to be some kind of sick joke, but the next words out of Louis’ mouth sent chills down her spine. As Jane tried to gather herself, Louis shoved their baby in her arms and told her that her name was going to be Annabelle and it was her responsibility to raise her.
