Girl Always Meets Brother When He Returns From School, One Day He Doesn’t Get Off The Bus

Gloria waited for her big brother Anthony to return home on the school bus every single day. She loved those few moments of anticipation that eventually led to her spotting her brother’s smiling face walking towards her as he stepped off the school bus that would drop him off right outside their house each day.

It was like any other day at home for 4-year-old Gloria. She was sitting at her drawing table when her smartwatch chimed to remind her that her preteen brother, Anthony, would be returning home on the school bus in just a few moments.

Gloria told her mom Lynn that it was time for them to head outside to greet Anthony. Lynn would normally accompany her excited daughter outside to the porch each day, but at that moment, Lynn received a phone call and found herself distracted for a few moments.

When Lynn got off her call, she went outside to find a disappointed-looking Gloria sitting on their front porch. She asked her if the bus was late to which Gloria replied that the school bus had come by, but Anthony never got off it.

Lynn found Anthony’s absence on the bus very odd. If Anthony was staying after school to play sports or work on a project, he would always call or text his mother to let him know. At that moment, Lynn felt in her bones that something was wrong.
