Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson seem to have chemistry, and sources say their romantic connection isn’t limited to the screen. The actors are starring alongside each other as love interests in The Naked Gun, which premieres in theaters on Friday, August 1, 2025. According to a source that spoke to People, they’re also dating in real life.
The insider told the publication that their alleged romance is still “in the early stages,” but “it’s sincere.” They added that 58-year-old Pamela and 73-year-old Liam are clearly “smitten with each other.”
Interviewers have asked Pamela and Liam about the apparent romance, and they’ve both sort of skirted around the topic. During a Today show appearance on July 29, Craig Melvin asked the costars, “What’s the deal here? You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?”
While Liam admitted that he and Pamela do have “chemistry,” he clarified that it was “as two actors.”
“I had never met Pamela before,” he explained on the show. “We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors.” Pamela chimed in to say that she agreed.
The topic also came up during a conversation with Mona Kosar Abdi of Extra. Once again, Liam and Pamela both had a fairly simple explanation for the romance rumors.
“We just like each other,” Pamela said. Reflecting on their chemistry as actors, Liam said, “It just grew naturally. We didn’t force it, just allowed it to grow.”
Some people around the web are loving this possible couple. “Both have had a lot of hardship so maybe they can bring some joy to each others life,” one person on Reddit said.
Someone else believes it is a publicity stunt: “It’s fun to think about them ending up together and happy, but there’s a pretty good chance they’re just hamming it up for the sake of promoting their film. Can’t fault them for that.”
In the past, Liam has also gushed about his love and appreciation for Pamela, which probably hasn’t helped dispel the rumors. “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” he said when speaking to People in 2024. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you.”
