A Displeased Grandma Complains About $200 Birthday Cake Gone Wrong, Dividing The Internet

The internet is divided over a $200 cake for a first birthday that went wrong. Khrissy took to TikTok to complain about a fairy cake she ordered for her granddaughter. She says she was disappointed in the final product.

Some of the internet agrees with her. They compared the lackluster cake to the popular Netflix series Nailed It. Others disagree and believe she got what she paid for.

“I spent well over $200 on this cake, and this is what I got,” Khrissy stated in her TikTok video, which has been viewed over 5.2 million times. “This is the worst cake I’ve ever seen in my life.” Khrissy chose not to name the bakery, even though she was less than satisfied with the results. The baker did admit: “‘Well, I will admit it was a lot harder than what I thought it would be.’” Khrissy even found a hair in the cake.

Many of her fellow TikTokers took her side.

“It looks like play doh,” one user commented.

“I would’ve thought I was being pranked!" wrote another follower. "Looking around for a hidden camera!”

Khrissy posted a follow-up video in which she shared the inspiration for the cake. The photo showed one of baker Dena Reed’s creations. Dena shared with Today that her cake cost a little over $300.
