Gwyneth Paltrow Sued For $300,000 After 76-Year-Old Claims She Crashed Into Him On Slopes

Skiing was first invented out of necessity in prehistoric times as a mode of transportation. If only our ancestors could see us now doing it for the fun of it. Sometimes the sport can get a bit dangerous.

Just ask Gwyneth Paltrow, who is being sued by a 76-year-old retired optometrist named Terry Sanderson over a skiing accident that took place in 2016 In Park City, Utah. It is a classic case of he said/she said. The pair agree that the crash happened but do not agree on anything else.

Sanderson alleges Paltrow crashed into him on the slopes. He claims the Goop founder was skiing in a manner that was unsafe for those around her. She knew she crashed into him but skied away anyway. He was left injured and went to the local emergency room with a concussion and broken ribs. His friend Craig Ramon testified and backed up his story.

Paltrow’s version of the story is quite different. She claims that Sanderson crashed into her, not the other way around. She also claims that her friends went to check on him and he stated he was OK. Sanderson claims to not remember this.
