Hilaria Baldwin Says There’s ‘Zero Grain Of Truth’ To Some Of The Common Rumors About Her

Hilaria Baldwin has been subjected to lots of rumors, speculation, and hate over the years. In 2012, she married her husband, Alec Baldwin, and they later welcomed seven children together. Some of her critics have expressed doubts (and shared conspiracy theories) about her pregnancies, claiming that she was not actually pregnant and that her baby bumps were fake.

People have also accused her of being a “gold digger.” During recent podcast appearances, Hilaria addressed some of these rumors.

She mentioned the pregnancy rumors and suggested that they’re ridiculous.

Hilaria’s pregnancies have been scrutinized by critics online to the point that people have accused her of using fake baby bumps and secret surrogates. During a recent appearance on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, Hiliaria commented on some of the wild things people have tried to say about her. She acted like she couldn’t even place where these rumors came from.

“Like I’ve never had any of my kids, and I have a bad relationship with my stepdaughter, which we have like the most amazing relationship, never fought once,” Hilaria shared. “Like, just stuff that people just randomly make up.”

She added, “There’s zero, zero grain of truth, and I actually didn’t know a lot about this until, you know, more recently.”

Although it sounds like she just learned about some of the rumors, she’s addressed a few of them in the past.

In 2022, when she was expecting baby No. 7, she addressed the critics speculating about her baby bumps. She shared a selfie to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “My friends made a good point about my belly. It kind of looks fake like I ate a ball.”

She then went on to speculate that her critics would be highly entertained by this. “I guess the psycho conspiracy theorists online with way too much time on their hands have somewhat of a point here,” she continued. “Now you guys can go share links and theories as to what kind of ball it was that I ate. Hope you come up with something that tastes good.”

She also recently addressed the gold digger allegations.

Hilaria and her husband have a 26-year age gap, and she can’t seem to escape the “gold digger” rumors even though they’ve been together for 14 years now and share seven children together. During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Hilaria suggested that having seven children with someone is maybe not stereotypical “gold digger” behavior.

“I think that that is like the test,” she said. “Like, guys, are you still going to call me a gold digger? I mean, first of all, seven kids, not what gold diggers should do. Have one then get out. Don’t have seven, cause they’re very expensive.”

She also admitted that the rumors did bother her at one point. The things people were saying about her didn’t align with how she sees herself. “I’m not that way,” she said after confirming that the rumors hurt her. “(Alec), from the beginning — I don’t think I’ve ever said this — but he would always try to buy me things, and I would be like, ‘No, I don’t want this.'”
