Birthdays are an important occasion when our family and friends celebrate us. Mom Hilary Duff gushed about her son Luca on his big day. He turned 12 on March 20, 2024.
Hilary is a mom of three with another baby on the way. She shares Luca with ex-husband, former NHL player Mike Comrie. She shares Banks, Mae, her unborn baby with husband Matthew Koma. They are a beautiful blended family.
Hilary took to Instagram to celebrate Luca. She posted a video compilation of some of her favorite moments with her son. He can be seen being a goofball in many different scenarios. He is dancing, playing soccer, and playing with his sisters.
“Another year for the books Luca!!!! Happy 12 ✨ my golden joy!!!! ,” Hilary captioned her post. The video was set to Beyoncé’s song "Texas Hold 'Em." That single is a jam.

Hilary loves being a mom but that doesn’t mean it is easy. “I’ve had to get really good at being disappointed in myself,” she explained to InStyle in 2023. "I think that when you have a baby, you’re just wired to think that you are loaded with all the answers and all of the capability, and we’re still just human beings.”
