Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager and their families do not shy away from the Halloween spirit. On Today with Hoda & Jenna on October 30, 2023, the hosts showed photos of their families' costume choices from over the weekend, ahead of actual Halloween night.
"Well it's Halloween, so 'tis the season," Jenna started the segment off, sharing with Hoda that she and her family went to Halloween Hang. "It was fun," she added of the festivities.
In one of the pictures, Jenna and her husband, Henry Hager, are surrounded by others in costume. They are kind of forming a pyramid.
In a different photo, Jenna is seen in a red outfit with a crown on her head. She is causally laying across the hood of a station wagon. Her husband is in the driver’s seat.

"Hal was dressed up as a fire tiger," the co-host said of her 4-year-old son. "So I dressed up as fire and he kept following around the house with a hose."
Jenna then asked Hoda how the weekend was for her. "My girls had so much fun," she said.
Hoda's oldest daughter, Haley, was dressed up as Princess Peach. She showed a picture of her daughter with a classmate who was dressed as Mario.
Her 4-year-old daughter, Hope, was too young to be in the parade that Haley was in. However, she was dressed up as a butterfly and got to watch her sister from the sidewalk.
"You know what it was?" Hoda asked. "It was just really, really fun." Jenna jumped in saying, "Making memories," to which Hoda agreed.
“Henry mentioned this," Jenna continued. "When we were little, Halloween was one day. We had Halloween. And that was it. Now it’s like you wear the costume to school, you do a Halloween parade, then you go to this thing, that thing.”
