Hunter Biden thinks President Donald Trump should be recognized for doing something that no other president has done before: ending so many wars. Because not only has he supposedly “ended” multiple wars — he has also ended the same war multiple times, according to Hunter.
On numerous occasions, the president has boasted about solving conflicts. In October 2025, the U.S. Department of State claimed in an X post that Trump had ended eight wars in eight months. Experts and fact-checkers have called these claims exaggerated.
Trump has suggested that he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize (and recognized in other ways).

He has spoken about it frequently. Previously, he said, “They will never give me a Nobel Peace Prize. It’s too bad. I deserve it, but they will never give it to me.”
Then, in January 2026, he tried to say that he didn’t actually care about it even though he had talked about it numerous times. “I don’t care about the Nobel Prize,” he said at the time. “First of all, a very fine woman felt that I deserved it and really wanted me to have the Nobel Prize, and I appreciate that.”

In an X post on July 2, Hunter wrote, “I am officially nominating Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) for the Nobel Peace Prize.” His reasoning? “No President in History has ended the same war so many times.” In the comments, some people found this pretty hilarious.
But the post didn’t end there. Hunter continued, “Our Dear Leader has ended the war with Iran at least 38 times by CNN’s count. No President has ever done this before. And he is nowhere near finished ending it. It’s a record worthy of the Nobel committee’s recognition. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Obviously, the younger Biden was mocking the president for claiming to have ended the ongoing conflict multiple times. But not everyone was amused by this.

Some people loved it — even those who are not necessarily fans of Hunter or his father. “You have to admit,” one person wrote in response. “He nailed this one.”
“Not a big fan of mister Hunter Biden here, but this is pretty funny I have to admit,” someone else wrote. People praised Hunter for his “brilliant” trolling and someone even called him “a national treasure.”
But some people flooded the comments with criticism of the Bidens and suggested that Hunter’s criticism was irrelevant. Hunter responded to some of these critics directly.
One of the critics mocked Hunter and said he should receive an award for his sobriety. “No man in history has announced he’s sober this many times,” they wrote. “By his own count, he’s been clean at least 38 different times. A truly unprecedented achievement.”
Hunter wrote back, “Make it 39 times! I am most definitely sober. Nobel here I come.” Another critic complained that Hunter’s criticism of the president is “rich coming from a failed crack head whose dad is a total fail that have accomplished nothing in life.”
Meanwhile, Hunter responded, “Just to be clear I was NOT a failed crackhead. I was an extremely accomplished crackhead? Have a great day and Happy 4th!”
