Ikea Re-created Famous TV Living Rooms With Its Products And They’re Eerily Accurate

Have you ever looked at someone's house on your favorite TV show and wished it was yours? There are some sets that are just iconic. One glance and you know where you are and who you can expect to see. It feels like home in all the best ways!

An ad campaign from Ikea in the United Arab Emirates is making it possible to transform your own home into a replica of some of your TV favorites.

The campaign is called "Ikea Real Life." It brought together Ikea products with some 3D digital magic to "re-create" the living rooms from Friends, The Simpsons, and Stranger Things. It took just two months, but the campaign created some seriously great looks. It's amazing how stylists nailed the details to bring these sets to life!

If you're bold enough, you can follow along with the products on your own. You could find yourself in Monica Geller's or Marge Simpson's or Joyce Byers' living room before you know it!

If you've ever tried to redecorate your house, you know it's not an easy feat. Getting the idea in your mind to translate to the room in front of you isn't easy.

Being able to do so on a budget does make things a little easier. Ikea is great for that, offering a lot of different options at reasonable prices.

The campaign uses Ikea furniture to re-create some of TV's most iconic living rooms. Sitcom fans may remember Monica Geller's living room on Friends.

Everyone wondered how Monica managed such a sweet place in her 20s. It was her grandmother's rent-controlled apartment, if you recall!

With a careful pick of some Ikea items, Monica's decor could be yours! Check out how the project nailed the details.

IKEA's Ektorp sofa is a great modern take on the couch where the six friends spent so much of their time. The Dorthea curtains in the background are also a sleek find.

Ikea UAE also tackled the living room from The Simpsons. It's featured in the intro to every episode.

And the retailer totally nailed it, right down to the askew Hovsta frame. We wouldn't be surprised to see the whole Simpsons family flop right onto that Knislinge couch!

Last but not least, Ikea tackled the '80s vibes of Joyce Byers' living room from Stranger Things. And yes, the project specifically captured it after Joyce cleared space to communicate with Will in the Upside Down via Christmas lights.

You may think it would be hard to make an alphabet and twinkle lights look chic. Ikea will prove you wrong!

It's a hint brighter than the usual Byers' house, but it gives that homey '80s feeling — that Strandmon wing chair looks like it could belong to Joyce, and the Tuvalie throw on the couch is a dead ringer for the blanket on the show.

This is a house people are really living in!

Now you know that with a little creativity and a good Allen wrench, you can make any of your wildest interior design dreams come true. You can even re-create something right off your TV screen!
