Months after he was rushed to the hospital due to a medical complication, Jamie Foxx was seen enjoying some time out. Footage obtained by TMZ shows the 55-year-old waving from a boat traveling along the Chicago River. He seems to be doing well and making a great recovery.
Back in April, the actor's daughter announced that he'd experienced a "medical complication." At the time, he was in Atlanta filming a movie. Because they acted fast when the medical emergency happened, she said, he was able to begin a path to recovery.
Though no details of what the medical complication was, a source close to Jamie shared in May that he was "stable and not in a life-threatening situation." Multiple other sources shared that he was making good improvement in getting better.

The "Unpredictable" singer broke his silence on May 3. He posted on his Instagram, "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed." He also gave a shoutout to Nick Cannon, who took on his hosting duties for Beat Shazam. And he ended it with a glimmer of hope, "See u all soon."
