Jinger Duggar Reveals How She Processed Horrible Family Secret Weeks After Josh’s Trial

If you’re someone who watched 19 Kids and Counting and its spinoffs that followed the controversial Duggar family, you’re going to want to check out this Tamron Hall show interview with former TLC star Jinger Duggar Vuolo.

19 Kids and Counting chronicled the Duggar family’s strict Christian beliefs, but the popular TLC program was abruptly canceled when Jinger’s brother, Josh Duggar, was accused of molesting several of his sisters, Jinger included, during their teenage years. Josh Duggar is now in prison, as he was sentenced to 12 years after being convicted for child pornography.

Jinger visited the Tamron Hall show in promotion of her book, Becoming Free Indeed, and the host did not hold back with her questions.

Tamron asked the reality TV star and author about how she dealt with everything involving her brother’s actions and what it was like living as a public figure during that difficult time.

“It’s so hard to know how to navigate that. And when you’re in such a public space, you don’t want to talk about all of that. It’s not fun to talk about. It’s difficult,” Jinger explained.

Tamron discussed that, in Jinger’s book, she talks about praying for her brother Josh now that he’s in prison serving time. She asked Jinger if she even considers Josh a brother anymore, after everything that’s happened.

“My prayer for my brother would be that he would have true transformation and change that can only happen from the inside out,” Jinger divulged. She also noted that her thoughts and prayers are continually with the victims and their families.
