Fans praised the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s makeover in the comments, with one person writing, “And here I thought Johnny Depp couldn’t get more attractive.”
The upcoming film has been described as Johnny Depp’s Hollywood comeback because he hasn’t starred in a film from a major distributor since 2018. It’s his first major film since his high-profile defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Though the actor seems to be trying to make a comeback, not everyone was receptive to it. In fact, some critics said they “will never watch anything he is in ever again.”
Reactions to the film and Johnny’s appearance were both extremely mixed. On X, longtime fans celebrated his comeback. One fan said they’re “so happy for him” and another person said that they “can’t wait to watch this” because Johnny is “such a talented actor.”
