Jon Bon Jovi gained a daughter. His son Jake Bongiovi married Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown. Jon is so excited for the happy couple.
Jon confirmed their marriage on an appearance on BBC's The One Show on May 28, 2024. The proud dad and father-in-law couldn't contact his enthusiasm. He can't wait to see what is next for the couple.
"They're great," Jon gushed when asked about the couple. "They're absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be. It's true."
A report in The Sun gave some more details. The outlet stated that Jake's parents, Jon and Dorothea Bongiovi attended, as did Millie's parents. Millie and Jake plan to have another celebration later this year, which will be larger and include more friends and family.
Millie and Jake first connected over Instagram in the summer of 2021. They were engaged two years later. Jake proposed while the couple was diving underwater. The ring fell off of Millie's finger at one point, and Jake dove deeper to get it.
“Jake threw himself, like so deep, like the diver was like, ‘You can’t do that, like your ears … literally your brain will explode,’” Millie recalled on The Tonight Show. Thankfully he was able to get the ring unharmed. “It’s a reflection of who he is, and I feel like we’re always going to have each other’s back, and if anyone drops the ball, we got it,” Millie gushed.
