Prior to their recent interview controversy, legendary football coach Bill Belichick, 73, and his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 24, appeared in a Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl commercial alongside Ben Affleck and his brother Casey Affleck. Now, a source has shared new details about why Jordon appeared in the commercial despite not having any lines. According to the insider, it might have something to do with her rumored controlling personality.
The source recently told Page Six that Jordon “forced her way in.” According to the unnamed person, whatever happened was pretty unprecedented. “People said they’ve never seen anything like it,” they claimed.
Previously, former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre made a similar claim. On his podcast, he referred to Jordon as “the person who you need to go through to book Bill Belichick for a Super Bowl commercial.” Given her apparent influence, Pablo claimed that she seemingly used it to her advantage.
“What I have been told reliably, is that Jordon happened to then use that power to be in the commercial as well,” he said at the time.

Some people have criticized Bill and Jordon’s relationship from the beginning because of their significant age gap. Now, after watching Bill’s recent CBS Sunday Morning interview that Jordon interrupted, people’s concerns have shifted. To many viewers, Jordon’s behavior during the clip made her seem controlling. Journalist Megyn Kelly went as far as to suggest that it could be a case of “elder abuse,” even though Bill later defended his girlfriend’s behavior and said she was “simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track.”
In spite of the recent criticism, some people have spoken favorably of Jordon, including comedian Nikki Glaser, who spent time with her at the Super Bowl. “We were in a box with Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon, who I talked to for a really long time, and I really like,” Nikki said on her podcast in February.
She said people might be skeptical of the relationship because of the “huge age gap,” but spending time with Jordon changed her perspective.
“I learned some stuff that I’m going to shut my mouth and I’m going to not judge because I think it’s — I know it’s legit and she seems really, really happy and she seems to have a really good head on her shoulders,” Nikki said at the time.
