Model Katie Piper Had Acid Thrown In Her Face By Stalker, But That Hasn’t Stopped Her

This video posted on YouTube by Goalcast tells the story of a young model and aspiring actor, Katie Piper, who became completely unrecognizable after an attacker hired by her stalker ex-boyfriend threw acid in her face.

Katie Piper and Danny Lynch dated briefly after meeting online. Still, when things quickly turned sour due to Lynch’s obsessive and aggressive behaviors, Piper couldn’t have imagined how her life was about to change.

One day, after constant phone calls, emails, and text messages, Lynch promised Piper that if she went across the street to a local internet café to read his messages and talk to him, he would finally leave her alone. She was desperate to move on, so she decided to do what he asked.

According to ABC News, Lynch then asked Piper what she was wearing and how she was wearing her hair that day. She found these questions extremely strange, but she answered them.

Piper was still on the phone with Lynch when she spotted a young man in a hoodie who had been pacing up and down her street starting to come directly toward her while he stared her straight in the eyes.

It was at that moment when the man took a cup of sulfuric acid and threw it directly into Piper’s face.

“It was like some contagious disease eating me up,” Piper remembers.

ABC News reports that the individual who was responsible for the attack in March 2008 was Stefan Sylvestre. The vicious assault was captured on three separate video cameras in the area.
