NY Homeowner Fatally Shoots 20-Year-Old Woman In Car That Pulled Into The Wrong Driveway

Twenty-year-old Kaylin Gillis was fatally shot by a New York homeowner after the driver of the car she was in pulled into the wrong driveway while looking for their friend's house. Kaylin was in the car with three others at the time. She was the only one struck by a bullet.

Kevin Monahan, 65, allegedly fired two shots at the vehicle from his patio. This was as the driver of the car, realizing it was the wrong house, was pulling out of his driveway.

The friends in the car drove away until they found an area with reliable phone service, which was the neighboring town, and they were able to call for help. Unfortunately, Kaylin was pronounced dead when first responders arrived.
