Leonardo DiCaprio might be 50 years old, but he doesn’t feel 50. That might explain his dating history. During a recent interview with Esquire, Leonardo suggested that he feels more like a 32-year-old.
During the interview, filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson asked Leo a series of questions, including, “I’m going to ask you a question, and you’re going to answer as quickly as you can. If you didn’t know how old you are, how old are you right now?”
When answering as quickly as possible, Leonardo said he’s feeling “thirty-two.” Elsewhere in the interview, Leonardo was asked to reflect on his age, especially since he recently turned 50. Paul asked Leo, “You turned 50 last year. Does it feel like a natural time for reflection?”
In response, Leo joked that he “turned emotionally 35 last year.” Paul shot back with, “‘Your age is 50, but your emotional maturity is 32.’ How does that feel?”
After joking about his “emotional maturity,” Leo did shed light on how he feels about aging. Now that he’s older, he finds that he has “a desire to just be more honest” and “not waste (his) time.”

He expanded on this idea by saying that getting older means “being more upfront and risking having things fall apart or risk the disagreements or risk going your separate ways from any type of relationship in life — the personal, professional” because “you just don’t want to waste your time anymore.”
He added, “You have to just be much more upfront. It’s almost a responsibility because much more of your life is behind you than it is ahead of you.”

Currently, Leo is dating Vittoria Ceretti, a 27-year-old model. They’ve reportedly been dating since 2023. Technically, his current girlfriend is older than many of the women he’s believed to have dated. Leo has a reputation for dating women under 25, to the point that it’s become the subject of many memes.
