Khloé Kardashian is tired of fans commenting on her appearance. The reality star, 38, became the target of speculation that she had done something to change her face again, after opening up about getting bangs.
“Fun fact: I wore clip on bangs for this shoot. It was fun to give a different look and not be committed,” she said as she shared photos from her Sorbet shoot.
“I am surprised with how much I liked the bangs even though they changed the shape of my face. Would you ever get bangs?”
The caption, though seemingly carefree and fun, produced a lot of sharp comments.
Khloé is no stranger to backlash about her changing appearance and has often been accused of editing her looks. Claiming that the bangs changed her face seemed to … confuse people.
“I don’t think it was the bangs that changed your face,” one follower replied.
Another user wrote, “Literally who is that??”
Khloé put her foot down, though, when a third fan said, “Ohhh it was the bangs that changed your face so much in these pics?”
“I openly talk about my nose job and anyone who ‘looks up’ to me must know I’ve lost over 60 pounds over the years,” the reality star replied. “So recently the only change is the bangs.”
She added, “I didn’t know I had to do a running list.”
She went on to clarify that regardless of what she’s done cosmetically, her fans have no right to come for her in the comments.
“Either way, attacking someone is sad in my opinion. Unprovoked is the saddest part,” she continued.
“If you are offended or don’t like what you see, you simply don’t have to say anything.”
She finished by telling the troll, “I hope you have a great first week of the new year. Thanks for making mine so jolly.”
But Khloé didn’t stop there — and neither did the negative comments.
One person brought up her weight.
“The fact that she uses [diabetic] medicine to get this skinny is disturbing,” a social media user replied on the post.
They are referring to semaglutide, which is often used in medicines for chronic weight management in adults with obesity and other conditions (per the US Food and Drug Administration).
Khloé quickly responded to the accusation, though she did not exactly address the claims.
“Let’s not discredit my years of working out. I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions,” she wrote. “I guess new year still means mean people.”
